Overview
Owners of Bluetooth headphones know the frustration of not being able to use them with an airplane's in-flight entertainment system. But thankfully there is now a simple and affordable solution. This wireless 3.5mm Bluetooth tansmitter features not only a dual 3.5mm plug but can also be converted to a single 3.5mm stereo plug for planes with single sockets or tablet based entertainment systems. The transmitter can also be used with a headphone output on any device. Transmit from your TV or home HiFi to your Bluetooth headphones.
The Bluetooth range is 10 meters, so you can pop to the plane bathroom or take a walk to stretch your legs without losing signal. Multiple headphones can be paired to the same device, which is handy if you travel with your partner and fancy having a binge watching session or movie night on the plane. It has a built-in rechargeable battery for long standby, so before you leave for your trip ensure the transmitter is fully charged. You charge the transmitter via the included micro-USB cable.
This adaptor utilises apt-X low latency transmission to ensure there are no lip sync issues between the video you are watching and the sound you're hearing through your Bluetooth headphones.
