The 28X1 has double program and variable memory, plus additional 128 bytes scratch pad memory. It has also many new features for IO etc
The PICAXE is a new generation, easy-to-program micro controller. Unlike many eproms its Flash memory allows it to be programmed over and over again without the need of expensive UV erasers or programmers. The simple to learn and use BASIC programming language used by the FREE software makes it great for a beginner or an experienced electronic enthusiast. The software also allows for programming via flow charts for even simpler programming.
